Condition
The colours are accurate in the catalogue illustration.
The work is executed on its original canvas, nor relined.
Few thin cracks to the impasto are only visible under very close inspection, along with 4 minor paintlosses (from 0,1 to 0,5 cm) :
- 1 located 21,5 cm from the upper edge and 24 cm from the left edge
- 1 located 2 cm from the upper edge and 17 cm from the left edge
- 1 located 75 cm from the left edge and 70 cm from the lower edge
- 1 located 46 cm from the right edge and 73 cm from the lower edge
Under UV light, there is no evidence of any retouching.
This work is in very good condition.
