Condition
This work is overall in good condition. The canvas is relined with wax adhesive. There are slight creases across the surface, notably a horizontal one across the middle.
There is no evidence of restoration under UV light.

《洛波特內港》在構圖和色彩上，充份顯示出伍澤樞源於中國的藝術觸覺。構圖方面，作品採山水立軸式佈局，不僅畫布垂直，景物安排亦是縱貫而下：藝術家從對面觀察，把內港口岸置於遠景，藉著弧形排列的大小艇隻，把觀眾視線沿畫面左側引進，由遠拉到近處；而伍澤樞對於海水和天空的表達，亦與西方藝術截然不同，他僅僅在畫布打上一層淺灰色作底而不添加任何細節，利用右上方隨形的色塊表現雲層，及船隻下的模糊倒影象徵漣漪，試圖以最少的對比來示意天空和海水的存在；相同的色彩不但顯示了海天一色，還體現了國畫之中「留白」的美學。西方藝術中的水景多是動態的海洋，與國畫中寧靜的江河湖泊不同，留白的技巧不能生搬硬套，但在這裡，由於畫面表現的是內港水域，因此留白更能表現波瀾不驚的效果，而船隻在安穩之餘，還產生了懸浮於空中的超現實感，可被視為中西藝術的成功結合。
