Condition
This work is overall in good condition. The canvas is relined with wax adhesive. There are slight creases across the surface, notably a horizontal one across the middle.
There is no evidence of restoration under UV light.

《洛波特內港》在構圖和色彩上,充份顯示出伍澤樞源於中國的藝術觸覺。構圖方面,作品採山水立軸式佈局,不僅畫布垂直,景物安排亦是縱貫而下:藝術家從對面觀察,把內港口岸置於遠景,藉著弧形排列的大小艇隻,把觀眾視線沿畫面左側引進,由遠拉到近處;而伍澤樞對於海水和天空的表達,亦與西方藝術截然不同,他僅僅在畫布打上一層淺灰色作底而不添加任何細節,利用右上方隨形的色塊表現雲層,及船隻下的模糊倒影象徵漣漪,試圖以最少的對比來示意天空和海水的存在;相同的色彩不但顯示了海天一色,還體現了國畫之中「留白」的美學。西方藝術中的水景多是動態的海洋,與國畫中寧靜的江河湖泊不同,留白的技巧不能生搬硬套,但在這裡,由於畫面表現的是內港水域,因此留白更能表現波瀾不驚的效果,而船隻在安穩之餘,還產生了懸浮於空中的超現實感,可被視為中西藝術的成功結合。
