「在風景畫中，我特別注意為景物賦與季節性的風貌，突顯作畫時的天氣和和時份，讓觀眾在看見作品的時候，可以體會我創作期間的所見所感。片面把眼前物象記錄在畫布上是遠遠不夠的，畫家必須對自己的觀察有所詮釋，加入個性化的演繹。描繪自然景物的時候，我絕少在構圖上不作調整，因為這是創作，創作就是以完成一幅優秀作品為目標。」
