Condition
This work is in good condition overall. There is a feather craquelure on the lower right (the area just above the thickly painted red area), but the paint layers are sound and stable otherwise. Under ultraviolet light inspection there is no evidence of restoration. The background colour of the painting is less yellow in reality than the catalogue illustration.
