the globular censer finely carved with a band of archaistic taotie masks defined by raised lines, flanked by a pair of upright scrolling handles in openwork, all resting on three short curled feet decorated with ruyi heads, the domed cover carved with a similar band of archaistic taotie motif surmounted by an intricate openwork coiled dragon, the stone of milky white tone with natural veins and inclusions
