Ahead of its first ever Watches Auction, on 19 November, Sotheby's Dubai held a celebratory evening of cocktails and art appreciation in partnership with Sotheby’s International Realty. At the cocktail event, around 150 clients gathered to view the rare and impressive collection of watches, and other works of art at the Sotheby's Dubai office.
The following day, the sale achieved US$2.6 million, ensuring a second watches sale will follow in March 2019. November's sale included an attractive selection of contemporary and vintage timepieces from the world’s most established and innovative brands including Patek Philippe, Richard Mille, Audemars Piguet and Vacheron Constantin.
