I n a special integrated series of auctions during the marquee sale series in New York, Sotheby’s will present the Collection of Sidney and Bernice Clyman, an exceptional private collection pairing 20th century western art with one of the finest groupings of African sculpture in the world. In an important first for the field of classical African Art, the star of the African collection - The Clyman Fang Head - will be presented as a marquee lot in the Contemporary Art Evening sale on June 29. Paintings from the Clyman Collection will also be on offer in the Contemporary Art Evening sale and the Contemporary Art Day Sale, and African Art from the Collection of Sidney and Bernice Clyman will conclude the series in a dedicated auction on June 30.
