In conjunction with the highly anticipated Salone del Mobile, Sotheby's will hold its first Design Sale of the year in Milan, featuring an extraordinary selection of pieces that together showcase the influence of Italian design on the development of the category throughout the 20th century to the present day.
Part of the offering, from Barovier and Toso to Arman, Gio Ponti to Antonio Cagianelli, Isamu Noguchi to Alessandro Mendini, will be on display in Sotheby's galleries in Milan from April 18th to 21st, before the online sale closes for bidding at 3PM on April 23rd. Acclaimed chef Davide Oldani (@davideoldani) has collaborated with Sotheby's by selecting four of his favorite pieces.
