IMMA in Dublin will present a major overview of legendary Iranian artist Monir Shahroudy Farmanfarmaian’s output, covering a period of 40 years and including previously unseen and newly created pieces. Moving across geometric abstraction and minimalism, and touching on the themes of folklore and spirituality, the show will feature a diverse array of objects, paintings, collages, tapestries and works on paper, some incorporating the artist’s signature use of reflective light-catching materials.
