The Paris Dance Project is the guest of honour of The Paris Sales this October 2023.
Following the success of the LA Dance Project, Benjamin Millepied and Solenne du Haÿs Mascré teamed up to create the Paris Dance Project: an artistic and educational incubator to support choreographic talents and bring dance to all. In this In the Studio interview, Benjamin Millepied and Solenne du Haÿs Mascré present the aims of their ambitious project. They also share with Sotheby’s their views on how dance and fine art can be intertwined and on the importance of Paris for dance and the arts. On the occasion of Modernités, the Paris Dance project was invited to create an original choreography in response to 4 artworks presented in the auction.
The performance was filmed under the artistic direction of Benjamin Millepied and will shortly be released in a short video.
