The Exquisite Qianlong Falangcai Porcelain ‘Poppy’ Bowl

This masterpiece of Qianlong falangcai porcelain is exquisitely enamelled with an intricate poppy design and features a 14-character poem telling the sad tale of its origins. The only recorded example of this design outside the National Palace Museum in Taipei, this is a highlight of our upcoming sales Chinese Works of Art (3 October | Hong Kong).
