Paris-based artist and designer, Mattia Bonetti, goes down memory lane. He takes us through the furniture he designed for Pauline Karpidas’s House in Hydra.
His works have been called whimsical, surreal and unique, consistently merging the boundaries between art and design.
The Evening Auction, taking place in Paris on 30 October, will offer some 40 lots, followed by a Day Sale of around 230 lots. The offering encapsulates the harmonious coexistence of design and contemporary art within Pauline’s world, with a particular focus on the sculpture that was displayed throughout the house and its gardens. Highlights will be exhibited in New York, London and Paris.
