S otheby’s is thrilled to unveil Heuer Champions, a remarkable collection of 38 iconic timepieces making its auction debut that honor Heuer’s rich legacy in motorsport and its influence during the golden age of racing.
Featured in the Important Watches Auction in New York on December 6, 2024, this selection includes celebrated models like the Autavia, Carrera, and Monaco, as well as rare vintage pieces that highlight Heuer’s pioneering role in automotive timekeeping. Standout pieces include the Heuer Monaco 1133B, famously worn by Steve McQueen in "Le Mans," and an exceptionally rare Ferrari-branded Heuer once owned by Formula 1 icon Phil Hill.
These 38 legendary racing watches will be a key highlight of Sotheby's Important Watches auction, presented in partnership with Marriott International's Luxury Group, taking place on 6 December at Sotheby's New York.
