To celebrate the 150th Anniversary of Impressionism, Stéphanie Chardeau-Botteri, great-grandniece of Gustave Caillebotte discusses her family legacy and the lasting impact that the Impressionist artists have had on the history of art.
In 2023, she published her book Gustave Caillebotte, L’impressioniste inconnu (Gustave Caillebotte, The Unknown Impressionist) in which she defends Caillebotte’s role in the history of art and how important he was to the painters of his generation.
