Frank Stella’s Delaware Crossing is from one of the most important periods in the artist’s storied career. Created in 1961, it is part of Stella’s famed Benjamin Moore series and it is the most important example by the artist ever to appear at auction. Delaware Crossing will be offered as a major highlight of The Collection of A. Alfred Taubman: Masterworks auction on 4 November at Sotheby’s New York.
