Bauhaus at 100 – Celebrating a Century of Art and Design

In this episode of Expert Voices, we mark the 100^th anniversary of the founding of the influential German school of art and design. Considered one of the birthplaces of Modern Art and design, the Bauhaus has influenced generations of artists, designers and architects, generating a lasting legacy that has shaped our visual world. Sotheby’s upcoming Impressionist & Modern Art Sales (26 – 27 February | London) will feature artworks by key proponents of the Bauhaus movement, including Wassily Kandinsky, Oskar Schlemmer and László Moholy-Nagy.
