60-Second Gallery: Bacon, Freud and The School of London

In 1976, the term ‘School of London’ was coined to describe artists including Frank Auerbach, Leon Kossoff, Francis Bacon, Howard Hodgkin and Lucian Freud. The Contemporary Art Day (8 March, London) and Made In Britain (20 March, London) auctions feature a selection of stunning works by some of these artists.
