  Patek Philippe limited edition commemorative watch Pagoda Reference 5500. Estimate HK$80,000-120,000.

  The rectangular reference 5500 Pagoda is one of the very special editions in Patek Philippe’s history. It was launched to commemorate the inauguration of Patek Philippe’s new Plan-les-Ouates manufacture in 1997, as “Commemoration 1997 Pagoda” engraved on the caseback. 1100 examples were produced in yellow gold. According to Patek Philippe, “a piece so limited that once the last watch was made the dies were destroyed.”
