Some of the most celebrated names in the acting world including Kim Cattrall, Dominic West and Joanna Lumley descended on New Bond Street this week for a private opening dinner ahead of next week’s sale, Vivien: The Vivien Leigh Collection. The event, which was co-hosted by Sotheby’s and The Old Vic, comes alongside a selling exhibition of portraits of the actress by acclaimed British photographer Cecil Beaton. Proceeds from the sale of prints will go to The Old Vic as the theatre heads for an important anniversary, turning 200 in May 2018. Click ahead to see highlights from the evening.
