  1937 Bugatti Type 57SC Tourer by Corsica. Estimate $6,000,000–7,500,000.

  This 1937 Bugatti Type 57SC Tourer by Corsica , one of 16 examples delivered with open coachwork, eight bodied by Corsica and one of only two built as a four-seat tourer, is recognized by enthusiasts as one of the ultimate expressions of pre-war motoring. The available “C” specification Roots-type supercharger was also added early in the car’s life to raise the power output to 200 hp, enabling a top speed of 120-mph and making the 57SC the fastest French production car of the period. Formerly of the Judge North and General Lyons Collections, chassis no. 57512 comes to Amelia Island with a fascinating ownership history and documented in seminal books on the model.
