Masterworks by the biggest names in Contemporary Art highlight the upcoming Contemporary Art Auctions in New York on 16–17 May. From white-hot artists like KAWS, whose The KAWS Album set a new record for the artist in Hong Kong, to auction stalwarts like Mark Rothko, whose 1960 untitled work comes to auction from the collection of SFMoMA, the Evening sale property will be on view in Sotheby's newly-expanded and renovated galleries from 3 May.
