Celebrating a pioneer of postwar abstract art at the opening of Hsiao Chin – Infinite Universe selling exhibition, celebrity model Ms Kathy Chow was among those in attendance at an intimate cocktail reception hosted by Sotheby’s at the SI2 Gallery in Hong Kong. The event got off to an inspiring start with a few words by Mr Kevin Ching, CEO of Sotheby's Asia, followed by a discussion on the Punto Movement and the idea of universe and spirituality with the artist, Sotheby’s Gallery Director Jonathon Wong, and Modern Asian Art Head of Sales Felix Kwok. Guests mingled and admired Hsiao Chin’s acrylic paintings from various periods and enjoyed this first-time opportunity to view the artist’s complete series of glass mosaic works.
