On 14 December Sotheby’s welcomed guests to our New York galleries for a cocktail reception and preview of Fabrizio Moretti x Fabrizio Moretti | In Passing. For this unique exhibition and auction, Fabrizio (Fab) Moretti, artist and musician of The Strokes, collaborated with Fabrizio Moretti, renowned art dealer and collector. But more than simply sharing the same name, the two are united by their creative pursuits and love of Old Masters. During the event guests, including Pari Ehsan, Timo Weiland, Justin Bartha and Strokes bassist Nikolai Fraiture, could experience the immersive installations Fab Moretti designed around 24 paintings and sculptures selected by Fabrizio Moretti.
