Since The Great Gatsby, summers in Long Island's East End have conjured the allure of coastal glamour. This June Sotheby’s and BMW partnered for an exclusive series of events featuring highlights from upcoming auctions and premier BMWs at Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty properties across the island. On 14 June, at a spectacular home on Moriches Bay, Sotheby’s Design Specialists Daphne Riou and Kim Miller discussed significant design objects from the upcoming Contemporary Living auction on the home’s stunning wraparound porch. On 15 June, prints took prominence at an elegant estate in Lattingtown where Sotheby’s John Maher shared expertise on a selection of works. BMW + Sotheby’s celebrated the spirit of exploration at an impressive Sands Point home on 24 June. Guests previewed rare property from the upcoming Space Exploration auction and Sotheby’s Cassandra Hatton and Ella Hall presented an iconic photograph of Buzz Aldrin taken by Neil Armstrong as well as a Gemini G1C Spacesuit.
