Known for her canvas pouches, journals and other accessories, Pamela Barsky is as crafty with words as she is with her designs. The New York-based Barksy recently opened her first brick-and-mortar shop, which offers her signature creations bearing amusing and cheeky sayings like "My anxiety is giving me anxiety." Her fans include Reese Witherspoon, Lady Gaga and Chef Daniel Boulud, among others. Much like Warhol, Lichtenstein and more artists in Sotheby’s upcoming Prints & Multiples sale, Barksy screen prints her products by hand in her small studio.
