Sotheby's welcomed collectors to New Bond Street this week for an exclusive dinner to celebrate The Art of the Season. There was an opportunity to enjoy highlights from the upcoming Impressionist & Modern, Contemporary and Old Masters sales, which include works by Giacometti, Miró, Kandinsky and Turner. There was also the chance to view a spectacular ice sculpture created especially for the event by the Japanese artist, Azuma Makoto. The guestlist included the artist Grayson Perry and the operatic tenor Jonas Kaufmann. Introducing the evening, chairman Robin Woodhead told guests about exciting new initiatives including the Museum Network and the Sotheby's Museum Prize.
