On 28 November 2018, Sotheby's will offer the private collection of two of Russia’s greatest musical legends, Mstislav Rostropovich and Galina Vishnevskaya. The sale comprises jewellery, furniture, musical instruments and Russian works of art. These items were acquired over the course of three decades, dating from the couple's emigration in 1974, shining an intimate light on their fascinating lives together.
