This October, Sotheby’s is delighted to announce its Islamic & Middle Eastern Art sales in London, comprising sought-after works spanning centuries, media and continents. Modern & Contemporary Middle East will lead the series with a live auction on 28 October, showcasing a curated selection of works from the region’s most culturally significant artists. Following this on 29 October, Arts of the Islamic World & India will encapsulate the unparalleled craftsmanship and profound aesthetic sensibilities that have defined Islamic art through the ages. Works from both sales, alongside an exhibition with Turquoise Mountain, will be on display in the London galleries from 24 October–5 November.
