This spring, Sotheby's is excited to present a series of sales in Paris and New York from May 28 to June 6 celebrating exceptional works of Design. Leading the series is our Design XX-XXI sale in Paris, showcasing a panorama of design from 1900 to the present day by major artists such as Alberto and Diego Giacometti, Jean Royère, and François-Xavier & Claude Lalanne. In New York, our single-owner evening auction No Detail is Small: Art and Design from The Tamotsu Yagi Collection combines Contemporary Art and mid-century French Design from the esteemed designer's collection. The sale is followed by our bi-annual Important Design auction, featuring a thoughtfully curated selection of premier pieces ranging from early American masterworks by Tiffany Studios to masterworks of Contemporary Design.
