London | New York

Fine furniture and decorative arts command the stage this season in New York and London with a carefully curated selection of European furniture, silver, ceramics, and decorative arts spanning from the 16th to the 19th centuries.

The season begins in New York, bringing to auction remarkable examples of design and artistry, including Timeless Nature: Property from a Private New York Collection. This special single-owner sequence showcases European furniture and ceramics that beautifully reflect themes of nature and organic forms. Additionally, the sale will feature a group of Important 18th Century French and Italian Furniture and Clocks from a Texas Private Collection, offering collectors the opportunity to acquire exquisite pieces from these celebrated design traditions.

Moving across to London, the auction features an exquisite selection of pieces from an English interior including early silver, Meissen porcelain and Georgian furniture. An impressive private collection from the Louis XV and Louis XVI periods will include fine timepieces as well as elegant furniture by clockmakers and ébénistes such as Saint Germain, David Roentgen, Jean-Henri Riesener and Adam Weisweiler. Further enriching the sale are a rare group of neoclassical furniture from an important UK private collection, contents from a stylish Roman apartment belonging to an important Noble Family and finally a selection from the Collection of the Late Howard Hodgkin.
