The immersive journey is a love letter to Italian culture and artistry
Exhibition tickets available upon request.
An exhibition honoring the vision and craftsmanship of designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana finds its second home in the legendary exhibition hall of Paris’s Grand Palais. First unveiled in Milan last year, the exhibition centers 200 one-of-a-kind creations from the designers’ Alta Moda, Alta Sartoria, and Alta Gioielleria collections, highlighting the exquisite artistry and excellence of these “fatto a mano,” or handmade, pieces. The extravagantly immersive staging not only spotlights the garments, but also transports viewers through the cultural richness of Italy—an enduring source of inspiration for Dolce and Gabbana—with dazzling displays that include references to the ballroom of Palermo’s opulent Palazzo Valguarnera-Gangi and Milan’s famed opera house La Scala. Curated by renowned French fashion historian Florence Müller—also celebrated for “Dior: From Paris to the World” and “Yves Saint Laurent: The Retrospective”—the acclaimed exhibit weaves together themes including architecture, craftsmanship, opera, folk tradition and “dolce vita” through masterful tableaux that capture the essence of Italian style.
