A landmark New York museum where great art is a catalyst for social change
Housed in a 560,000-square-foot landmark Beaux-Arts building, this is one of the oldest and largest art museums in the United States. The Brooklyn Museum’s richly diverse collections span global cultures from the ancient to the contemporary. Highlights include a world-renowned section of Egyptian antiquities and impressive American art galleries, which were radically reinstalled in 2024 as part of the museum’s commitment to creating a more inclusive history of art.
