Who's Afraid of Red, Yellow and Black?
Selling Exhibition: 18 April–17 May 2024 • Brussels

Inspired by Barnett Newman’s masterpiece (Who’s Afraid of Red, Yellow and Blue), and as a pretext for an essentially chromatic journey, we allowed ourselves to be guided in our choice of works by the three colours floating on the supple surface of the Belgian flag – black, yellow and red. This exhibition celebrates the fiftieth anniversary of the Brussels office of Sotheby’s by bringing together some of the great names in modern and contemporary art, from Belgium and beyond.
