More About the Exhibition
The winter residency at the Sotheby’s gallery is a homecoming for Sélavy co-founder Christina Floyd Di Donna, who was raised in Florida and who, along with her husband, Emmanuel Di Donna, began her career at Sotheby’s. “I am delighted to bring Sélavy to the Palm Beach collecting community—and I am very excited for my friends, as well as the local art and design enthusiasts, to discover the unexpected combinations that are the hallmark of Sélavy,” said Christina Floyd Di Donna.
Styled as an inspiring interior, this exhibition presents the eclectic vision of an imagined collector, juxtaposing Surrealist, modern and contemporary paintings, prime examples of American and European mid-century modern and contemporary design, and whimsical objects by some of the most influential artists of the past century. Prices range from $10,000 to over $10 million.
