Contemporary Expressions of Africa

Selling Exhibition: 26 October–17 November 2023 • Brussels

S otheby's Belgium is pleased to present Contemporary Expressions of Africa, a selling exhibition showcasing a curated selection of captivating African photogaphs and paintings by renowned artists such as Malick Sidibé, Seydou Keïta, Jean-Dominique Burton, Cheri Samba and Philip Kwame Apagya. The exhibition will be open to the public from 27 October–17 November.

For this special occasion and unique exhibition, Sotheby’s is collaborating with Gallery FIFTY ONE, a gallery founded in 2000 in Antwerp, which specializes in fine art photography and works on paper. The gallery represents these and other 20th- and 21st-century artists.
