Description
The Cartier Tank Americaine was designed in 1987 and finally launched in 1989 as the first curved case Cartier ever featured, including a water-resistant case, a new folding buckle and using the same mechanism Cartier has been using since 1910. The Tank Americaine was inspired by the Tank Cintrée, originally designed in 1921, with a slightly sportier, slim, curved, bolder-looking case.
