Description
Vacheron was established in 1755 and developed until 1814, when a third-generation Vacheron took in a partner by the name of F. Constantin to invest and take over the international marketing and sales for the company. Vacheron Constantin has striven to create only the world's finest complicated timepieces.

The watch is in overall fair condition with moderate wear throughout commensurate with age. Case is in overall fair condition with moderate surface wear. Strap has signs of wear throughout commensurate with age. Dial is in overall good condition. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
