French Art Deco cigarette case, 1930s.
- Rectangular with rounded ends.
- Lacquered front with eggshell decoration.
- Black lacquer back.
- Silver gilt interior with fabric clasp.
- Impressed 'MADE IN FRANCE' and with silver hallmarks.
Condition Report
Very GoodLacquered surfaces with occasional scratches, light abrasions and wear to the surface.
Eggshell surfaces largely intact and in very good condition overall.
Interior gilding with some light discoloration and minor oxidation.
Silver with some light tarnish and scratches to the inside.
Inside of the case with a fabric clasp, possibly a later replacement.
