Description

One of the very first running shoes produced by Nike shortly after the company’s formation. First debuted at the 1972 Olympic Trials and worn by three of the top finishers. Originally named for the Obori Park running track in Fukuoka, it was later renamed ‘Boston 73’ after Jon Anderson won the 1973 Boston Marathon in his Obori shoes.
