Description
Introduced in 1970, Rolex’s first available quartz watch was the Oysterquartz Datejust. The reference 17000 appeared in the Rolex catalogue in 2001, which was also the last year Rolex received any chronometer certificates for quartz movements, thus ending the Rolex quartz era.
