Rolex introduced the original GMT-Master reference 6542 in 1954 to help pilots combat jetlag. Follow its success, the firm introduced reference 1675 in 1959, which remained in production until 1980 before it was later replaced by reference 16750. Over its 20 year run the 1675 was available in gold, steel and a combination of the two. This present timepiece is crafted in yellow gold with its riveted bracelet, which sets it apart from the vast majority of the 1675 produced. Furthermore, it is fitted with the most attractive chocolate brown dial with nipple indexes and matching bezel. This livery is highly praised by collectors as it creates a wonderful charm and vintage feel.
