The Rolex Day-date stands as one of the brand’s most luxurious wristwatches.

The iconic model was originally released in 1956 as the first waterproof and chronometer-certified automatic wristwatch to display the date at 3 o’clock and the day of the week in full letters at 12 o'clock. Considered as an everyday dress watch and worn by the most influential men and women of the century, the Day-date was only available in precious metals, including yellow, rose and white gold as well as platinum.

Among the different generations of Day Date, the 1803 is the most famous iteration.

Produced between 1961 and 1977, it is THE reference to have when it comes to this model.

The present model is a rare version crafted in pink gold with matching president bracelet, placing it apart from the vast majority of the production that was made in yellow gold. It is fitted with the correct "Swiss only" silvered dial perfectly complementing the case and that has the typical and sought-after "doorstop" quarter indexes at 6 and 9 as well as the rare blade hands.

Further to its rarity and collectiblity, the pink gold provides an incredibly attractive vintage charm to this central reference in the history of Rolex.
