Patek Philippe

First introduced in 1968, the Patek Philippe Golden Ellipse has a very distinctive appeal comparing to traditional watches. Housed in an elliptical case, the watch has a sense of inner harmony that is very pleasing to the eye. The case was inspired by the principle of Golden Ratio discovered by ancient Greek mathematicians.

To mark the 40^th anniversary of the model, Patek Philippe introduced the 5738 in 2008. The was the only Ellipse of the catalogue. It has a jumbo-size platinum case and is powered by the automatic caliber 240. Ten years later, Patek Philippe launched the 5738 in pink gold with an ebony black sunburst dial to celebrate the 50^th anniversary of the model. The watch keeps the jumbo size and its contemporary style is re-enforced by the new livery. Includes presentation non-Patek Philippe box.
