Description
The history of OMEGA began in 1848, when Louis Brandt set up a watchmaking business in La Chaux-de-Fonds. His business was innovative in that the work was divided between different production units, each specializing in a particular part of the movement. All the components were then assembled under the brand name "Louis Brandt." In 1880, they launched the first caliber in the series, "Le labrador." This caliber was a real success and allowed the brand to develop rapidly and hire nearly 250 people during the year. By the end of the decade, the factory had become the largest in the Swiss watchmaking industry, capable of producing 100,000 watches per year.
This Seamaster Reference 2311.21.00 is a yellow gold and stainless steel quartz wristwatch with date, case and bracelet in 18K yellow gold and stainless steel, case size in diameter 40 mm. Quartz movement with caliber Omega 1538. Water resistance approximately 120 meters. Date display at 3 o'clock position. White dial with stick indexes.

GoodThe watch is in overall good condition. Case has signs of scratches and surface wear throughout commensurate with age. Bracelet has signs of stretch, scratches and surface wear throughout commensurate with age. Buckle has signs of scratches. Crystal has heavy signs of scratches and surface wear throughout commensurate with age. Case back has signs of scratches. Dial, indexes and hands have some oxidized spots. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the battery may need replacing at the buyer's discretion.
