Description
The history of OMEGA began in 1848, when Louis Brandt set up a watchmaking business in La Chaux-de-Fonds. His business was innovative in that the work was divided between different production units, each specializing in a particular part of the movement. All the components were then assembled under the brand name "Louis Brandt." In 1880, they launched the first caliber in series "Le labrador." This caliber was a real success and allowed the brand to develop rapidly and hire nearly 250 people during the year. By the end of the decade, the factory had become the largest in the Swiss watchmaking industry, capable of producing 100,000 watches per year.
This Limited Edition De Ville reference 413.20.37.20.08.001 is a yellow gold and stainless steel automatic wristwatch with date, circa 2008, Olympic limited edition of only 2,008 pieces. Case and bracelet in 18K yellow gold and stainless steel. Automatic movement with caliber Omega 2500, power reserve approximately 48 hours. Water resistance approximately 30 meters. Case size in diameter 36.5 mm.

Bracelet has signs of stretch, scratches and surface wear throughout commensurate with age. Buckle has signs of scratches. Crystal has signs of scratches and surface wear throughout commensurate with age. Case back has signs of scratches. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion.
