Mido Watch Company was founded in 1886, combining functionality, innovation and aesthetics. Although Swiss, the brand’s name Mido derives from a Spanish phrase, “yo mido,” which means “to measure.”
Honest Vintage: The Greg Selch Collection
A native New Yorker from a family of connoisseurs, Greg Selch has collected watches for over 20 years, among many other things. Over the years, Selch has become well-known for his passion: “orphan watches” as well as well-worn watches with patina, for which a term has been created: #selchism.

FairThe watch is in overall fair condition with wear throughout commensurate with age. Case is in overall fair condition with visible nicks and scratches. Bracelet has signs surface scratches throughout commensurate with age. Dial is in overall good condition. Crystal shows signs of scratches. case and caseback show visible scratches. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion.
