Description
Following a great run of creative masterpieces since the early 2000s, Jaeger-LeCoultre released the Duomètre à Chronographe in 2008 in both pink gold and platinum. This exceptional monopusher foudroyante displays the recorded time to the 1/6th of a second. A highly important movement in the manufacture's rich history, the caliber 380 introduced the dual wing concept, allowing the time display and chronograph complications to derive from one single regulating organ. The crown winds the two functions separately: the time through a clockwise rotation and the chronograph through a counter-clockwise rotation. Therefore, the striking yet subtle grained dial displays two independent power reserves. Includes Jaeger-LeCoultre box.

Very GoodThe watch is in overall very good condition with light wear throughout commensurate with age. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
