Since the Admiral’s Cup joined Corum’s collection in 1960, it has been one of the brand’s most recognizable timepieces. In the original, the twelve-sided case shape embellished with distinctive nautical pennants has always formed an unmistakable signature for the La Chaux-de-Fonds-based brand: a flagship, so to speak. The Admiral’s Cup line is rooted in founder René Bannwart’s fondness for sailing and regattas, who derived its name from an annual series of yacht races that took place off the southern coast of England until 2003.

This Limited Edition Admirals Cup reference 395.101.34/V705AB11 is a rose gold and stainless steel automatic wristwatch with date, circa 2013, limited edition of only 100 pieces of this model. The case and the outer bracelet links are decked out in a metallic black color achieved by a PVD treatment. This color that was all the rage in the 1980s also adorns the lugs, the crown guard and the dial. The latter exudes an aura of distinctive elegance with its vertical guilloché finish and its stylized nautical pennants appearing around the inner bezel ring. The bezel and the central links are made of 18K red gold. Caliber CO 395, mechanical self-winding movement. Dial displays the hours, minutes and small seconds, along with a date window at 3 o’clock. Approximately 42-hour power reserve and features an oscillating weight engraved with the Corum logo and visible through a transparent exhibition case back. This watch comes with full set of paper and box.
