Description
This is a stainless steel Chronoswiss Orea CH 1163. It has an alligator leather strap with a Chronoswiss stainless steel pin buckle and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on the interior surface. It has a pull-out winding crown with a sapphire cabochon tip and a screw-down exhibition sapphire display case back with an anti-reflective coating. The 36.5mm diameter solid three-body case, downturned screwed lugs, and stepped and coin-edged bezel are polished. The dial is white enamel with painted black Roman numerals. It has blued Breguet-style hands, and there is a running small seconds subsidiary dial at 6 o'clock. It has a 46-hour power reserve at full wind, and it's water resistant to 30 meters. The 8mm thick case, dial and movement are all signed.
This Chronoswiss Orea CH 1163 has a mechanical manually winding Chronoswiss caliber 111 (base Marvin 700) movement. It's rhodium plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment, with the pallet lever, escapement wheel and screws all polished. It's constructed with 17 jewels, an Incabloc shock absorber device and a Nivarox 1 balance spring. It has an index regulator, a hacking seconds device for precision time setting, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz). This watch comes with a full set of paper and box.
Please be advised that bands made of materials derived from endangered or otherwise protected species (i.e. alligator and crocodile) cannot be shipped outside the country of sale. We reserve the right to remove these bands prior to shipping.
Condition Report
The watch is in excellent, like new condition. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion.
