New York Knicks legend and Hall of Famer Willis Reed signed these Rucker Park-themed basketball shorts in black marker. The two-time NBA champion and seven-time All-Star starred for the Knicks from 1964-1974. Other notable career accolades include the 1965 Rookie of the Year, the 1970 MVP, and the 1970 and 1973 Finals MVPs. In addition, he was also named to the NBA’s 75th Anniversary Team as one of the 75 greatest players in NBA history. 

Reed was known to spend time at Harlem’s famous outdoor basketball court at Rucker Park. Reed won two Rucker Park Pro League titles during the summers while he was a member of the Knicks. Many NBA superstars over the decades have been known to regularly play at or visit Rucker Park including Julius Erving, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Wilt Chamberlain, Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant.
